{"id":161,"date":"2026-06-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/samrudhikadam.in\/MyStories\/?p=161"},"modified":"2026-09-07T14:22:48","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T14:22:48","slug":"the-arrival-of-the-envoy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/samrudhikadam.in\/MyStories\/2026\/06\/15\/the-arrival-of-the-envoy\/","title":{"rendered":"THE ARRIVAL OF THE ENVOY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the discussions in the Kuru court, Bhishma and Vidura advised Dhritarashtra to abandon ideas of hostility towards the Pandavas and reminded him that the Pandavas, the sons of Pandu, were the rightful heirs of the Kuru dynasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bhishma, Dronacharya and Vidura advised Dhritarashtra to make peace with the Pandavas instead of creating conflict within the family. Finally, Dhritarashtra decided to invite the Pandavas back to Hastinapur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dhritarashtra asked Vidura to go to Panchala as an envoy and bring the Pandavas, Kunti and Draupadi, back with honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vidura travelled to Panchala and was warmly welcomed by King Drupada. He affectionately embraced the Pandavas and enquired about the well-being of both them and Kunti. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Loved this story?
